Lowers pH of Spa Water ClearRay® pH/Alkalinity Down is designed to lower both alkalinity and pH of your spa or hot tub. Ideally, the total alkalinity should be between 80 and 150 ppm, and pH between 7.2 and 7.8. ClearRay® pH/Alkalinity Down should be used as necessary when pH levels are above 7.8. Directions for Use: NOTE: For best results, dissolve granular products first by adding to a small, plastic pail filled with water. Then, apply the solution to the spa water. 1. Make sure all equipment is OFF. 2. Add 1/4 oz. (1-1/2 tsp.) ClearRay® pH/Alkalinity Down for every 500 gallons of spa water. 3. Turn on circulation system for 3 minutes. 4. Retest water. If pH is still above 7.8, repeat steps 1-3.
